NEACTC STUDENT NAMED STATE OFFICERMs. Massey also serves on the state of Arkansas SkillsUSA board of directors.  Ms. Massey spearheads NEACTC SkillsUSA participation and was instrumental in NEACTC enrolling all staff and students in SkillsUSA for the 2021-2022 school year.  Hence, NEACTC was awarded a $2,000 Lowe's gift card for becoming the state of Arkansas's first school to have 100% staff and student enrollment in SkillsUSA.

At last springs state SkillsUSA conference and competition event, Molly was named state champion for her welding sculpture.  Molly's creation?  An ancient helmet that could have been worn by a Greek or Corinthian soldier.

According to Eddie Crain, NEACTC Director, "I could not believe I was holding an item designed and created by a high school student--let alone a Sophomore student.  Molly is an incredibly talented and motivated student and we are excited to again have her as a student at Northeast Arkansas Career & Technical Center."

Molly, who is enrolled at the Academies at Jonesboro High, is a student in Dan West's Engineering Design and Production Lab, formerly known as Advanced Manufacturing.
