Jonesboro - Students will travel in the company of instructors Zane Johnson and Raelyne Massey to San Diego California to compete in national FCCLA competition.
Megan Howlett, Avery Howard, and Alyssa Boylan will represent Northeast Arkansas Career & Tech Center in the Golden State this June.
Linda Keys, Arkansas CTE FACS Program Coordinator visited NEACTC in late May to present Howlett, Howard, and Boylan certificates recognizing their state championship efforts earlier this year.
Each student was awarded a medal and scholarship to the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. Howlett received a $5,000 scholarship (1st place), Howard $3,000 scholarship (2nd place), and Boylan $2,000 (3rd place).
Congratulations all and here's to a tasty summer in San Diego!
